Safety for the July 4th Weekend


When I worked in the ER during residency, we all knew what we'd see over the July 4th shift - drunk-driving accident victims, heat-related illnesses, hand and facial burns, lacerations, and yes, even the occasional loss of a finger. What do these all have in common? They are preventable injuries and illnesses. Click below for Fourth of July safety tips you'll want to remember!
