Virtual Visits
In today's busy world, Paragon Family Medicine is happy to offer the convenience of virtual visits as well as traditional office visits. A scheduled video call to discuss medications or ask for advice about travel can ensure that you receive care quickly and efficiently. Of course, there's always ample time available to see you in the office as well! Telehealth visits are scheduled in advance, and can be used for a variety of different visits. You will be sent a pre-registration link ahead of time so you can verify your insurance and pharmacy info, answer screening questions and pay your copay.
Unfortunately, Congress did not renew telehealth coverage before it expired on October 1, 2025. Therefore, at this time, telehealth visits are not covered by Medicare. Luckily, in Colorado, commercial insurances, Medicaid, and all Medicare Advantage plans are required to pay for telehealth services (although copays, coinsurance and deductibles may apply).

At the time of your visit, Dr. Husney will initiate a video call through the Spruce app (please call the office if you need a link to download Spruce). Make sure to either have the app open on your screen or to have your notifications turned on in the app so you will know when she starts the visit.
