What's an E-visit?

This is a non-scheduled visit via secure text messages; these are best used for acute concerns that are not urgent.  Each week, we will post the periods of time when the e-visits are available. 

How does it work?

When you sign up, you will complete a series of questions about your illness or concern.  Dr. Husney will then review this and respond during the E-visit time period.  

Does insurance pay for this?

Currently insurance does not cover E-visits.  When you sign up for a visit, you will be asked to pay the $25 fee (this compares to ~$35 at other local private practices and almost $60 with a large pharmacy clinic.  

What if I need to be seen in person?

If we decide you need to be seen in person or if you are not available during the selected time period, your fee will be refunded in full.
