Those of you that know me well know that I have always believed that quality healthcare should be available to everyone, regardless of finances or insurance status.  Because of this, I have never liked the idea of concierge practices that typically charge an average of $1500-$2500 per year.  I still believe that private practices working under the traditional fee-for-service insurance model can provide excellent patient care.

Since this is the case, why did I make this change?  Simply stated, I wanted to do more.  I had goals in mind when we opened Living Well Family Medicine that we were never able to fulfill because we were simply too busy.  It was a good problem to have, and I am grateful to all of our patients for trusting us with their healthcare.  Now, I've incorporated those features into Paragon Family Medicine that were impossible to realize with a larger number of patients.  The only way to do this and still pay the bills is to charge the modest membership fee.  This is significantly less than that charged by typical concierge practices, but enough to allow me to offer you what I like to call Family Practice Plus.

What is your Plus? What are you getting for your fees that you don’t already get with insurance? The most important is access: you are able to easily reach me by phone or by text, and we can schedule free calls to review lab results from your physical.  Another key focus of the practice will be education.  The website is a resource you can refer to in your daily life, and I am working with other specialists to create free programming on a variety of topics.  Other membership benefits are listed here on the website.
